Objectives of the Club

Toa Payoh Guitar Club is setup with the following objectives:

• Promote the interest in guitar-playing, guitar music and to share guitar musical knowledge and experience.
• Provide an avenue for healthy interaction, promoting friendship and understanding for guitar enthusiasts in the field of guitar music.
• Create opportunities for talented guitarists to be exposed to public performances and thereby develop self-confidence.
• Foster team spirit through guitar ensembles, thereby promoting patience, tolerance and goodwill among members.
• Seeks to nurture organizing abilities and leadership qualities among members.
• Formulate programmes to promote general appreciation of guitar related activities and provide courses for various level of guitar enthusiasts.
• Assist or support directly or indirectly other guitar organizations in their activities.
